In 2020, the Canadian Premier League found themselves with the tricky task of promoting their forthcoming Macron kit updates in the middle of a national pandemic lockdown.
The normal process of gathering key players together for a kit launch photoshoot was impossible and it was time to get creative. Having received vector mock-ups of each kit from CPL Kit Partner Macron, the marketing team needed to somehow create realistic 3D shirt visuals as well as transpose the new kit designs onto images of players.
The team got in touch with SPARKIUS to spin some Photoshop magic and, with a little fiddling and lots of coffee, we created a series of key visuals for all eight CPL teams.
