The normal process of gathering key players together for a kit launch photoshoot was impossible and it was time to get creative.
Having received vector mock-ups of each kit from CPL Kit Partner Macron, the marketing team needed to somehow create realistic 3D shirt visuals as well as transposing the new kit designs onto images of players.
The team got in touch with Steve Parker at SPARKIUS Art to spin some Photoshop magic and, with a little fiddling and lots of coffee, the UK-based artist exceeded expectations with a series of key visuals for all eight CPL teams.
Due to Covid-19, we were unable to photograph players in the new kits and Steve was able to work from the manufacturer sketches to create photo-realistic shirt and player images.
The final images were perfect for our requirements and featured as the key visuals for our 20/21 Kit Launch Campaign.
